Gerald I. Shiller, M.S.
Adjunct Geologist
Mr. Shiller is a registered Professional Geologist in California and Arizona, and a Certified Environmental Manager in Nevada. He has extensive experience in site assessments, including historic research for Phase I projects, and subsurface exploration for Phase II projects. He has completed studies of regional and local geology in the coastal zone, both onshore and offshore. Mr. Shiller is co-author of a Minerals Management Service Environmental Studies Report entitled "Archaeological Resource Study: Morro Bay to Mexican Border" (OCS Study MMS 87-0025).
He is a member of the American Institute of Professional Geologists, the Geological Society of America, the San Diego Association of Geologists, and the San Diego Historical Society. Mr. Shiller is responsible for overseeing all geological aspects of the archaeological and paleontological monitoring and mitigation programs conducted at BFSA.
