Johnna L. Buysse, M.S., RPA

Project Archaeologist

Ms. Buysse has over 12 years of experience in cultural resource management with extensive experience in southern California, as well as throughout the Southwest and South. As Project Archaeologist, she is responsible for developing research designs, directing all phases of field investigations, supervising laboratory analysis, evaluating cultural resources, and preparing documentation and technical reports for local, state, and federal agency review.

Her experience includes NRHP and CEQA site assessments, HABS/HAER documentation, the development of cultural resource management plans, and all phases of archaeological investigations involving both prehistoric and historic resources. Ms. Buysse meets the Secretary of the Interior's standards for qualification as a principal investigator and project archaeologist and is a member of the Register of Professional Archaeologists.
